FTC Vonage Refunds
The FTC is sending payments totaling more than $99.4 million to 389,106 people who tried to cancel a Vonage account or were charged fees after canceling. Payments arrive by check or PayPal — cash a check within 90 days, accept a PayPal payment within 30. The FTC's page does not state a date range for affected accounts, so call the refund administrator on 1-877-525-4728 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.
There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
