About Money Owed To Me
The problem
Money goes unclaimed every day — not because people do not want it, but because they never hear about the program, cannot tell whether a notice applies to them, or miss the deadline while deciding. This is an independent guide for that problem, and nothing more.
The method
Every record is researched from official administrator sites, court-facing notices, FTC and CFPB refund pages, USA.gov, and the NAUPA state-treasurer directory, then rewritten in our own words and dated. We store official search URLs, never owner names, and we do not copy anyone else's database.
The boundaries
This is informational only. It is not a law firm, a claims administrator, or a government agency, and it is not MissingMoney or a state unclaimed-property office. Official searches stay on government sites, filing there is free, and we never touch your claim.
Reaching us
Corrections, questions, and removal requests go through the contact form, and a person reads every one. If a record is wrong, the official page linked on it is authoritative and the faster fix — but tell us anyway, because a wrong record here is our problem to correct. If a public court caption names you and you would rather not appear, we remove it within seven days without asking why.
