FTC T-Mobile Refunds
If you were a T-Mobile customer with third-party charges added to your phone bill before 2014, typically $9.99 a month, the FTC is now sending Zelle payments to people who never cashed an earlier check or accepted an earlier PayPal payment. Checks went out in February 2017 and July 2021 and PayPal payments in October 2023, returning more than $24.3 million so far; the page gives no count or total for this Zelle round. A Zelle payment goes straight into your bank account, and questions go to the refund administrator on 1-844-746-4695. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.
There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
