FTC Publishers Clearing House Refunds
The FTC is sending 281,724 checks totaling more than $18 million to Publishers Clearing House customers who ordered a product after receiving and clicking one of the emails the FTC alleged were deceptive, in a case over misleading sweepstakes claims and surprise shipping and handling fees. Not every PCH customer is covered, and a check should be cashed within 90 days. The FTC's page does not state a date range for qualifying orders, so call the refund administrator on 1-888-516-0774 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.
There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
