FTC AT&T Data Throttling Refunds

The FTC has distributed more than $5.6 million to former AT&T customers on unlimited data plans whose speeds were throttled, and is now sending payments by Zelle to people who did not cash the original check or accept a PayPal payment. The FTC's page does not state a date range for affected plans — call 1-877-654-1982 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
