FTC Ring Refunds
People who had an account with the home security camera company Ring may be eligible, after the FTC sued over privacy failures that let employees see customer videos and left accounts open to hackers. Payments went out in April 2024 and August 2025, totaling more than $5.4 million, and the FTC is now sending Zelle payments to people who did not cash a check or accept a PayPal payment; those deposit straight into your bank account, and the page gives no count or total for this round. The FTC's page does not state a date range for when you had to have held an account — call the refund administrator on 1-833-637-4884 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.
There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
