Metropolis parking refunds (Tennessee Attorney General settlement)

The Tennessee Attorney General settled with Metropolis Technologies for $8.75 million, of which $6.5 million goes to refunds for drivers, and opened the claims process on June 11, 2026. You may be eligible if you paid for a parking session at a Metropolis lot in Tennessee between July 1, 2021 and January 6, 2026, were wrongly overcharged, ticketed or booted, and have not already had a full refund. Some drivers were emailed a Claimant ID and Access Code; the Attorney General's office says people who were not emailed may still file, though they may need documentation of what happened. The announcement does not state a filing deadline, so check the claim site for the current date - payments are expected in early 2027, and filing is free.

Expected

The Attorney General's office says payments are expected to be made in early 2027.

Read off the official notice, in its own words. These dates slip — an appeal can move a distribution by a year or more — so treat it as the administrator's plan rather than a schedule.
