GS Labs COVID-19 testing refund program (state attorney general settlement)
GS Labs ran COVID-19 testing sites from October 2020 until it closed in September 2022, and on June 10, 2026 it agreed to a $4.87 million settlement with 18 state attorneys general over claims it advertised inflated cash prices, charged administrative fees of up to $49 a test, and missed its advertised three-day turnaround. $3.6 million of that is restitution, split between people who paid above the market rate, people charged an administrative fee, and people whose results arrived late; Washington's attorney general puts individual payments at roughly $5 to $200 depending on the group. Anyone who paid out of pocket at a GS Labs site in that period may be eligible. Refunds run through a short verification step on GS Labs' own site at gslabstesting.com, which is free to use, and the attorneys general say payments are processed on a rolling basis with no closing date published. What each person receives depends on what they were charged, and no amount is guaranteed.

Expected
The attorneys general say the restitution mechanism is funded and administered by GS Labs under their oversight, and that claims are processed on a rolling basis as verifications are completed. No completion date is given.
Read off the official notice, in its own words. These dates slip — an appeal can move a distribution by a year or more — so treat it as the administrator's plan rather than a schedule.
