Money Owed To Me

FTC refund program · Open

FTC University of Phoenix Settlement

The FTC has refunded more than $49 million to people who paid University of Phoenix, which it says advertised deceptively by claiming ties to employers such as Microsoft, Twitter, Adobe and Yahoo. After rounds in March 2021, July 2023 and September 2025, the FTC is now sending Zelle payments to people who never cashed a check or accepted a PayPal payment; the money is deposited straight into your bank account, and the page gives no count or dollar total for this round. The FTC's page does not state a date range for when you had to have attended or paid, so call the refund administrator on 1-877-310-0487 to check whether you may be eligible. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
