FTC Razer Refunds

The FTC is sending 6,764 payments totaling more than $1 million in full refunds to people who bought Zephyr face masks from Razer, which the FTC says were advertised as N95-grade although they were never certified as N95. Payments come as a check or a PayPal payment: cash a check within 90 days, accept a PayPal payment within 30. The FTC's page does not state a date range for eligible purchases and describes no claim form; questions go to the refund administrator on 1-833-285-3003. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
