FTC DeVry Refunds

The FTC is mailing 5,942 checks to former DeVry students who got an earlier payment but never cashed it; the agency has returned more than $49 million since the first checks went out in July 2017. You may have been eligible if you enrolled in a bachelor's or associate's degree program at DeVry University between January 1, 2008 and October 1, 2015, paid at least $5,000 in cash, loans or military benefits, completed at least one class credit and did not receive loan forgiveness under the settlement. Cash the check within 90 days, and call the refund administrator at 1-844-578-2645 for the latest information. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
