FTC Refunds for Amazon Flex Drivers

If you drove for Amazon Flex from late 2016 through August 2019, Amazon withheld portions of customer tips, and the FTC has returned more than $60.6 million to affected drivers. Two rounds have already gone out (November 2021 and May 2025) and Zelle payments are now going to drivers who never cashed a check. Payments are automatic — there is no claim form. Questions go to the administrator on 1-800-654-8874. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
