FTC Progressive Leasing Refunds

The FTC is sending a second round of 1,221,146 checks totaling more than $27 million to people who used Progressive Leasing rent-to-own plans, cashed their first check and paid the company $616.62 or more; the first round in June 2021 came to more than $143 million. Checks go out by mail with no claim form described, and should be cashed within 90 days. The FTC's page does not state a date range for affected purchases — call the refund administrator at 1-877-625-9449 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
