Money Owed To Me

FTC refund program · Open

FTC Credit Karma Settlement

The FTC has returned more than $2.3 million to people who filed a valid claim over time wasted applying for "pre-approved" Credit Karma credit offers they were then denied, and is now sending Zelle payments to those who never cashed the October 2024 check or accepted the PayPal payment. A Zelle payment lands directly in your bank account with a note about the settlement, and no further claim form is described. The FTC's page does not state a date range for the affected offers — call the refund administrator on 1-866-848-0871 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
