FTC FloatMe Refunds
The FTC is sending 255,739 payments totaling more than $1 million to people who paid FloatMe for instant cash advances and accepted a first refund, following the September 2024 round that returned more than $1.5 million from the $3 million FloatMe paid to settle. Payments arrive by check or PayPal — cash a check within 90 days, accept a PayPal payment within 30. The FTC's page does not state a date range for eligible customers, so call the refund administrator on 1-833-637-4344 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.
There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
