SitusAMC data breach settlement

SitusAMC, a mortgage and real-estate services firm, has agreed to a $5.3 million settlement over a data incident on or about November 12, 2025. People who were sent notice that their information was involved may be eligible for a flat cash payment the administrator estimates at $75 with no paperwork, or up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses; California residents at the time may claim a further $50. One year of credit monitoring with $1 million of identity-theft insurance is offered to the class. Claims close November 6, 2026, and filing on the official settlement site is free.

Expected

The FAQ says benefits are distributed only after the court approves the settlement at the November 11, 2026 hearing and any appeals are resolved, so no payment date is fixed yet.

Read off the official notice, in its own words. These dates slip — an appeal can move a distribution by a year or more — so treat it as the administrator's plan rather than a schedule.

Two cash options. Cash Payment B is a flat amount the administrator estimates at $75 and needs no documents, but it is pro-rated, so the final figure depends on how many people claim. Cash Payment A reimburses documented out-of-pocket losses up to $5,000 and needs receipts or other third-party proof. A $50 California statutory payment is separate, for people who lived in California between November 12 and 22, 2025. One year of credit monitoring is provided to the class. Every figure is an estimate rather than a guaranteed amount.

The class is the people on the class list SitusAMC sent notice to.
