Riverside Resort & Casino data incident settlement

Riverside Resort & Casino settled claims over a July 2024 cyberattack on its computer systems. The class is people in the United States who were sent notification that their private information — names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver's licence or government ID numbers and financial information — was involved, so if you got that letter you may be eligible for a flat $50, or $75 if you live in California, or instead documented out-of-pocket losses up to $3,000 and lost time up to $60, plus a year of credit monitoring. Claims close on January 4, 2027 and the court considers final approval on January 27, 2027. Filing on the official site is free; the online form opens with the LoginID and PIN printed on your notice, and the administrator will resend those if you ask.

Expected

The court considers final approval on January 27, 2027, and the notice says payments follow approval and the review of claims. No payment date is published.

Read off the official notice, in its own words. These dates slip — an appeal can move a distribution by a year or more — so treat it as the administrator's plan rather than a schedule.

Dapello, et al. v. Riverside Resort & Casino, Inc. and Riverside Resort & Casino, LLC · 2026CV000097 · Circuit Court for Columbia County, Wisconsin

The alternative cash payment is a flat $50, or $75 for California residents, and asks for no receipts. Instead of it you can claim documented out-of-pocket losses up to $3,000 plus lost time of up to three hours at $20 an hour, backed by bank statements or receipts. Either way you can also take a year of CyEx Financial Shield Total monitoring with $1,000,000 of fraud insurance. All of these benefits share an aggregate cap of $1,000,000, so amounts are estimates and can be cut back if claims run high.
