FTC Fortnite Refunds
In June 2025 the FTC sent 969,173 payments totaling more than $126 million to Fortnite players in the U.S. who were charged for unwanted purchases and filed a valid claim by February 14, 2025. You may have been eligible if you were charged in-game currency for items you did not want between January 2017 and September 2022, your child made charges without your knowledge between January 2017 and November 2018, or your account was locked between January 2017 and September 2022 after you disputed charges. The claim deadline was July 9, 2025 and the FTC is no longer accepting claims; it says it expects to send more payments in 2026 after reviewing the remaining claims. Payments come as a check to cash within 90 days or a PayPal payment to accept within 30, and questions go to the refund administrator on 1-833-915-0880. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.
There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
