FTC refund program · Open
FTC Arise Settlement
The FTC is sending 98,254 checks totaling more than $6.7 million to people who worked for the gig work company Arise at some point between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2023, after the FTC charged the company with overstating what agents could earn. Checks are mailed and the page describes no claim form; cash one within 90 days. The refund administrator is Epiq, on 1-888-998-8059. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.
There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
