Cone Health MyChart tracking settlement
Cone Health has agreed to a $1,765,000 settlement of claims that tracking code on its website and MyChart patient portal passed visitors' information to third parties without permission. Living people who accessed the MyChart portal, or completed a submission form on Cone Health's website, between September 1, 2016 and November 3, 2022 may be eligible for an equal share of what is left of the fund after fees and costs. The notice states no per-person figure, because the share depends on how many valid claims are filed. Claims close October 5, 2026, and filing on the official settlement site is free.
