Teleflora text message settlement

Teleflora settled a claim that it sent marketing texts to numbers listed on the National Do Not Call Registry. The court-approved notice covers people who, from May 9, 2021 onwards, got more than one promotional Teleflora text in a 12-month period at a number that had been on the Do Not Call list for at least 30 days, and who had not given Teleflora that number. Approved claims are capped at $251 each out of a $6,000,000 settlement sum, less a share of costs and fees, and the deadline is November 17, 2026. Filing on the official site is free; the claim form asks for the identification number printed on the notice, and final approval is set for November 25, 2026.

Expected

The notice says payments follow final approval and the resolution of any appeals, and that resolving appeals can take time. The final approval hearing is set for November 25, 2026.

Read off the official notice, in its own words. These dates slip — an appeal can move a distribution by a year or more — so treat it as the administrator's plan rather than a schedule.

Vickie Carter v. Teleflora LLC · 2026-012979-CA-01 · Circuit Court for Miami-Dade County, Florida

The notice caps each approved claim at $251 and then subtracts that claimant's share of administration costs and the fee award, so the figure actually paid is lower. The $6,000,000 settlement sum covers claims, administration and attorneys' fees of up to a third of the sum. The parties estimate the class at about 23,844 telephone numbers, and only one claim per class member per telephone number is approved. The claim form asks for the claimant identification number printed on the notice. Amounts are estimates, not guarantees.

Eligibility questions

These questions help you decide whether to read the official notice. They are not a legal determination.

Did you receive more than one promotional Teleflora text message in a 12-month period since May 9, 2021?

The class is built from calling records obtained in the case; the administrator can check a number against them.

Was that telephone number registered on the National Do Not Call Registry at the time?

The notice asks for the number to have been registered at least 30 days before the texts.

Had you given your telephone number to Teleflora before the texts arrived?

The class covers people who did not provide their number to Teleflora.
