Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital data security settlement

Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital has settled claims over a July 2025 cyberattack that the notice says may have exposed names, dates of birth, health insurance details, billing records and treatment information. Everyone sent written notification of the incident is in the class, so if that letter reached you, you may be eligible. Cash is capped at $100 a person — documented out-of-pocket losses, lost time at $25 an hour, or both — and two years of medical identity monitoring is offered as well. Claims close November 12, 2026, and filing on the official settlement site is free.

Expected

The notice says payments are distributed only if the court grants final approval at the December 7, 2026 hearing and after any appeals are resolved.

Read off the official notice, in its own words. These dates slip — an appeal can move a distribution by a year or more — so treat it as the administrator's plan rather than a schedule.

Cash is capped at $100 a person in total: up to $100 for documented out-of-pocket losses, up to four hours of lost time at $25 an hour, or a mix of the two. Two years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete monitoring is offered alongside it, which the notice says includes $1 million of medical identity theft insurance. The online form asks for the Login ID and PIN from the mailed notice; the administrator will re-send those by email, and a printable form can be mailed instead. The notice gives no fund total and these are ceilings, not promised amounts.

Eligibility questions

These questions help you decide whether to read the official notice. They are not a legal determination.

Were you sent written notice that your information was involved in the July 2025 Susan B. Allen data incident?

The class is defined as everyone who was sent that written notification.

Did you spend time dealing with the consequences of that incident, or money you can document?

Either supports a claim against the $100 cap; the form asks you to describe the time.
