FTC Trudeau Refunds

The FTC is sending nearly 33,000 PayPal payments to people who bought Kevin Trudeau's book The Weight Loss Cure "They" Don't Want You To Know About through an infomercial. Checks already went out in June 2016, August 2017 and August 2020, and this round goes to people who did not cash a check and have a valid email address on file, so you may be eligible if that describes you. Accept a PayPal payment within 30 days; the FTC's page does not state a date range for the purchases or a total for this round, so call 1-844-828-4437 with questions or to ask for a check instead. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
