FTC National Landmark Refunds

The FTC is sending a second round of 1,389 payments totaling more than $69,000 to people who lost money to the phantom debt collection scheme run under names including National Landmark Service of United Recovery, Silverlake Landmark Recovery Group, Absolute Financial Services Recovery, AFSR Global Logistics and Tri-Star. This round goes to people who accepted a payment from the first round, which returned more than $464,000 in December 2024, and checks should be cashed within 90 days. The FTC's page does not state a date range for affected consumers; the refund administrator can be reached on 1-844-804-5497. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
