FTC I Works Refunds

The FTC is sending 44,286 payments totaling more than $976,000 to people who paid I Works for government-grant and money-making products and were billed without consent. This round goes to people who accepted the second payment and paid I Works more than $225, after earlier rounds in May 2020 and September 2022 returned more than $15.7 million. Cash a check within 90 days, or accept a PayPal payment within 30. The FTC's page does not state a date range for affected purchases, so call the refund administrator on 1-888-304-0228 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
