FTC AdvoCare Refunds

The FTC is returning more than $149 million to AdvoCare distributors who lost money in what the agency called an illegal pyramid scheme. Not every distributor is covered, and the FTC's page does not state a date range: you may be eligible if you reached Advisor level, spent far more on products than you received in rewards, and met other criteria. Payments arrive by PayPal or check, so accept a PayPal payment within 30 days and cash a check within 90; call the refund administrator on 1-855-744-1802 to ask for a check instead or to check whether you are covered. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
