FTC ACRO Services Refunds

The FTC is sending a second round of 5,685 checks totaling more than $6.2 million to people who paid upfront fees for credit card debt relief to ACRO Services, which also used the names American Consumer Rights Organization, Reliance Solutions, Thacker & Associates and Tri Star Consumer Group. This round goes to people who accepted a payment from the first round, which returned more than $3.8 million in January 2025; cash a check within 90 days. The FTC's page does not state a date range for affected customers, so call the refund administrator on 1-877-753-2846 to check. The FTC will not ask you to pay money to receive a refund.

There is no claim form for this one. The administrator pays consumers it has already identified, so the useful step is to make sure they can reach you — not to file anything. Anyone offering to file it for you, for a fee, is selling you nothing.
